The Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra will perform under chief conductor Romanian Cristian Macelaru, who combines this responsibility with the musical direction of the French National Orchestra. Accompanying is cellist Kian Soltani, who has been praised by publications including The Times and Gramophone. In the 23/24 season, Soltani will be the principal artist of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, and is to share stages with the Wiener Symphoniker, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and many other prestigious groups.
