Neneh Cherry has been both an icon of mainstream pop and a prelude to the trip-hop, a global reference and a friend of anonymity. With his godfather Don Cherry (one of the greatest performers of free jazz) as a musical father (she took his last name) and after anomadic existence that led her to Londonas a teenager, she took her first serious steps in the second half of the 80´,and became a star with the album “The Infected”(1986), a duet with Matt Johnson.
