5th Ikergazte Conference, a meeting of Basque researchers

Ikergazte is a conference for young researchers in Basque. With the aim of strengthening the Basque scientific and intellectual community, the Basque Summer University (UEU) has been organising this meeting every two years since 2015, which has been held in Durango the first year, 2017 in Pamplona, 2019 in Bayonne and 2021 in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The meeting is aimed at new people starting out in the professional research career. In this sense, the organising team encourages the presentation of the results of a research work, whether it is a new researcher, a thesis in progress or a thesis that has just been presented.

The contributions are scientific articles and the work carried out will deal with the following main research topics:

• Humanities: History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Art, Anthropology…
• Social -Sciences: Economics, Business Studies, Law, Sociology, Journalism, Communication, Pedagogy, Psychology…
• Exact and Natural Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Biology…
• Engineering and Architecture: Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Architecture…
• Health: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy…
