IMBÉCIL, Álex O’Dogherty’s show, will make you reflect on the power of words in our daily lives.
He measures words a lot. What’s more, they affect him a lot. Words. The good ones a little, the bad ones a lot. Is he or isn’t he IMBÉCIL?
Imbecile comes from “sin báculo” and means: fragile, weak and vulnerable. And he hates being like that!
That’s why, in this monologue, he has set out to talk about the power of words, or more specifically, about the power of those of us who use them.
Together we will try to discover if we can stop being affected by words, or if we are condemned for life to be perfect IMBOLITIES.
In this new show he talks about words, little words and swear words. About what is said with words and what is said without them, about people’s capacity to offend and to be offended, and about the right to be and to do the IMBÉCILES, which also means: fool, clown, funny… And he loves to be like that!
