San Sebastian Gastronomika-Euskadi Basque Country closes with the best congress in its 25 years of existence, not only because of the record number of visitors or the quality of the programme and the chefs who have taken part, but above all because of the positivity that has reigned in the atmosphere during the three days of the congress.
An emotional and very special edition that has meant a return to the founding spirit, that of the chefs' congress. The figures for the congress confirm this feeling of a record edition, with 14,712 accredited guests of 48 nationalities, 1,468 congress participants and 413 accredited journalists. In addition, more than 10,000 tastings were served in the auditorium and more than 160 companies took part in the exhibition area of the Kursaal.
Euskadi Basque Country 2023 has been a journey through cuisines from all over the world that pamper the environment and take care of local products, but also the review of some of the trajectories that run parallel to those of the congress itself and that have been the protagonists in many of the presentations that have been developed in an auditorium that has been reminiscent of the best of times.
