This congress reaffirms the city of San Sebastian as the epicentre of world gastronomy, bringing together the best chefs, critics and professionals in the culinary sector.
On 9 October, San Sebastián Gastronomika closed its most open and participatory edition, with 14,780 accredited participants from 48 different nationalities and with a presence in the auditorium of more than 1,300 congress participants, some of whom were able to taste the more than 10,000 tastings served.
This year, Portugal has been the guest country, bringing with it its rich culinary tradition and some of its most renowned chefs. With this edition, San Sebastian consolidates its position as one of the world's leading chefs in gastronomy, both for the quality of its cuisine and for its ability to attract the best international exponents. San Sebastián Gastronomika Euskadi Basque Country in Kursaal continues to be the perfect showcase for the city and the territory to remain at the forefront of innovation and culinary art.
