Within the framework of the Spanish capital of the Social Economy, which Donostia will hold throughout the year 2023, the Vice President of the Basque Government, Idoia Mendia, today inaugurated FESLAN, the Social Economy Employment Fair and Congress. Organised by the Department she heads together with the Public Employment Service - Lanbide, FESLAN aims to be a meeting point between companies in the field of the Social Economy and people seeking employment. It will bring together not only important Social Economy companies in the Basque Autonomous Community through stands but also students looking for employment and/or to improve their employment situation.
Under the slogan 'The future of the Social Economy is you', the inauguration was attended by the Mayor of Donostia, Eneko Goia, the Deputy for Sustainability of Gipuzkoa, José Antonio Asensio, and the Director General of Social Economy of the Ministry of Labour, Maravillas Espín.
