Congresses have made a strong comeback to Donostia/San Sebastian in the first half of the year. The Kursaal and the Miramar Palace have hosted 12 congresses, 8 of them international, as well as 59 conferences and conventions with a total of 15,000 attendees.
Science, creativity, training and human rights were the focus of this spring's congress activity, which included, among others, the 14th International Symposium of the GEICAM Breast Cancer Research Group, the SOSORT International Congress of the Orthopaedic Treatment and Rehabilitation of Scoliosis Society, the GEP-SLAP International Congress on polymers, the ASOVASNA Congress of the Basque-Navarre Association of Haematology and Haemotherapy, the International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology, the International Congress of Professional Training WFCP 2022 or the congress of the Club de Creativos, the largest meeting of the marketing and communication industry, held in the Kursaal, as well as the Chemontubes 2022 Congress, the Qens/Wins 2022 Congress and the Statistical Learning Congress (BCBL) which took place in the Miramar Palace.
